What happens if my child is ill?
It's unavoidable that small children catch all kinds of minor infections. For a speedy recovery and to prevent the other children from falling ill, children who are unwell must stay at home. If the disease is infectious, we have set exclusion periods. Your child may return to nursery when they are no longer contagious.
Starting at Nursery
Starting at nursery can be a big step for both your child and you. trial sessions before starting allow for settling in and also time for your child to form a relationship with his/ her key person.
The Key person supports your child throughout the day, and on your return to nursery will share your child's experiences with you. As a parent it is also an opportunity for you to feedback and build a positive relationship with daisykins staff. Remember we are always here to help.
Getting involved
daisykins parents are encouraged to get involved. Our staff understand the importance of communicating with you and sharing information about your child's progress.
Parents are welcome to enquire about or visit their children during the day. We maintain a formal record of development for each child and there are regular opportunities for feedback, including parents evenings throughout the year.
