Pre School places available for September 2018

Are you looking for a Pre School place for your child this September? If so we have availability in our Pre School, where the rooms underwent a makeover last August, being fully equipped out with community playthings furniture. [ngg_images source="galleries" container_ids="227" display_type="photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow" gallery_width="600" gallery_height="400" cycle_effect="fade" cycle_interval="3" show_thumbnail_link="0" thumbnail_link_text="[Show picture list]" order_by="sortorder" order_direction="ASC" returns="included" maximum_entity_count="500"]Our Pre School prides itself on preparing children for school and ensuring they are 'school ready'. During their time in Pre School the children will make new friendships, that may stay with them when they move onto school, and develop bonds with their key worker and the practitioners based within the room. The practitioners will follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and as it is split into the seven areas of learning all children's development will be assessed across these. Each child is assigned a key person upon starting, who completes regular observations which are made up of both written and photographic. All information gathered on the child will then help the key person to make a fair judgement on the child's development. We encourage parents to contribute to the child's learning journeys as well by completing home observation sheets and making comments on observations made at nursery.Time will be spent helping develop the children's Personal, Social and Emotional Development. We feel this is important as there are many aspects within this area, for example, helping children to manage their own feelings,  making relationships with all peers and helping develop their self-esteem and confidence. Throughout their time in Pre School children will join in many activities that will stimulate and challenge many areas of their development.  Our outdoor area has also recently undergone a major refurb with new outdoor equipment being provided, and this has proved a big hit with our current Pre School children. Activities are set up outside for the children to access in the morning and the afternoon. Practitioners use their experience to scaffold children's learning and help them progress further in their development. [ngg_images source="galleries" container_ids="228" display_type="photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow" gallery_width="600" gallery_height="400" cycle_effect="fade" cycle_interval="3" show_thumbnail_link="0" thumbnail_link_text="[Show picture list]" order_by="sortorder" order_direction="ASC" returns="included" maximum_entity_count="500"]We offer morning sessions 7.30am-1pm, afternoon sessions 1-6.30pm and full days 7.30am-6.30pm. Children are also able to access both the 15hours government funding and the 30hrs childcare scheme, these sessions are either 8.30am-11.30am or 1pm -4pm. However these sessions are limited.
