Daisykins nursery children got active and fund-raised for Sports relief, they joined their friends and parents at a local Athletics Sport track for a morning packed of sports games. Children in Great dais Pre School got into their key groups and awaited the excitement, the first race of the morning was an egg and spoon race. The children lined up at the start line with their egg balanced on their spoon and they listened for the word "Go", eggs were falling off the children spoons right and left centre but the children persevered and finished the race in good time.
The children from the rest of nursery were very energetic and completed a toddle of the lap of the track, well done everyone. After their little toddle the children had a well deserved drink and biscuit. Friends and family supported the children by cheering and clapping them.
Pre School children' s parents thought they were only at this event to support the children little did they know they were participating in a parents egg and spoon race. The race began with all parents waiting eagerly on the start line, the parents were cheered on by the children shouting "Go mummy Go daddy" all parents even managed to keep their eggs on their spoon and finish the race in one piece.
