Take A Look At Our Redeveloped Pre-School!

At Daisykins Nursery in Rugby we have redeveloped our Pre-School room ready for the new academic year, kitting it out with all new Community Playthings furniture and more natural wooden resources/toys. Pre-School have also moved down to the middle floor of the setting to give them more room and the ability to free flow between all the rooms on that floor. This change in location gives the Pre-School there own independent dining room as well, meaning it is very similar to when they have mealtimes at school.[ngg_images source="galleries" container_ids="220" exclusions="1821,1813,1814,1822,1815,1812,1810,1819,1818" sortorder="1821,1813,1814,1822,1815,1812,1810,1819,1809,1816,1811,1823,1817,1824,1820,1808,1818" display_type="photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow" gallery_width="600" gallery_height="400" cycle_effect="fade" cycle_interval="3" show_thumbnail_link="0" thumbnail_link_text="[Show picture list]" order_by="sortorder" order_direction="ASC" returns="included" maximum_entity_count="500"]The Pre-School staff came together with management and discussed how they would like the Pre-School room to be laid out in order to provide maximum opportunities for the children to learn and develop. Plans were then drawn up and the appropriate furniture was ordered and resources sourced. Practitioners then came in over the Bank Holiday weekend in August to move everything into it's new home and set the room up ready for the children to come back to on the Tuesday.[ngg_images source="galleries" container_ids="220" exclusions="1810,1812,1813,1814,1815,1818,1819,1821,1822" display_type="photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow" gallery_width="600" gallery_height="400" cycle_effect="fade" cycle_interval="3" show_thumbnail_link="0" thumbnail_link_text="[Show picture list]" order_by="sortorder" order_direction="ASC" returns="included" maximum_entity_count="500"]The children were very surprised by the changes when they returned and they have enjoyed exploring their new room and the resources within it. We have had tea parties in the role play area, story time with the teddies in the cosy corner and we've been busy creating our own Elma in the messy area, amongst other activities.[ngg_images source="galleries" container_ids="221" sortorder="1827,1828,1829,1830,1831,1832,1833,1834,1835,1836,1825,1837,1840,1841" display_type="photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow" gallery_width="600" gallery_height="400" cycle_effect="fade" cycle_interval="3" show_thumbnail_link="0" thumbnail_link_text="[Show picture list]" order_by="sortorder" order_direction="ASC" returns="included" maximum_entity_count="500"]We are very pleased with the finished result and look forward to the new experiences the children will have in their new room over the coming year.
