What Is Great Dais Pre School
Preparing children for school is our priority for this age group. As they begin their gentle introduction to a more structured setting preparing them for their school years ahead, children further develop their listening and communication skills.
Taking turns and fully participating in the activities for the day are all part of their pre-school learning though always with flexibility to allow for child-led activities. Children starting school after their pre-school years with great dais pre-school are confident and full of self-esteem, ready tostart their formal education years, forging new friendships and continue on their learning journey.
Our Practitioners and their Specialism
At daisykins™, each of our practitioners offer a specialism that will make your child’s day with us even more exciting. From storytelling to messy play, cooking to sewing, around the world and ICT, the activities for each age group will stimulate and encourage children’s natural curiosity for learning and develop their communication and social skills.
Francais Avec Stacey
Over the week at nursery Stacey spends time with the Great dais Pre School children, she helps them to learn some basic French. The children have been learning their numbers in French, they will move onto learning some simple everyday phrases eg Hello, goodbye and my name is.... Stacey uses props to help support her French programme, the children especially love the three soft dolls Pierre, Renee and John Paul.
