Children get all messy for National Messy Dais
Children and practitioners from Daisykins Nursery in Rugby took part in National Messy Dais. Activities planned ranged from quicksand to exploring the texture of hair gel. Practitioners in Baby Plus supported the children in fe the texture of baked beans, spaghetti and shaving foam the children used their hands to explore the texture, they squeezed and squelched the mixture together in their hands. Throughout this activity the children approached the adults for reassurance and exchanged gestures and words. Also set out on the table was finger paints, one child took a fancy to painting her face rather than the table she had a great time in doing this.
