Stimulating Our Babies Senses

Sensory activities in Baby Room

Throughout the week the babies have been joining in lots of sensory play activities. They started the week off by running their fingers through and grabbing handfuls of orange rice. As they moved the rice around they found small black spiders to examine.
At Daisykins Nursery we believe that sensory play is important for babies learning and development. Our fantastic practitioners strive to provide a variety of sensory objects on a daily basis, stimulating the children's senses as they explore the resources available.
