Pre-school Graduation 2016
On Sunday all the Pre -school children, parents and practitioners gathered to celebrate finishing the Pre-school year by holding a Graduation ceremony. The parents all sat in anticipation waiting for the children to join them on the dancefloor and after a short wait, the children began entering the room with smiles on their faces. They shared some of their favourite songs they had learnt during their time at Daisykins and joining in with actions. Some of the parents who were feeling brave even joined in having a little sing song with the children. The children then left to get on their gowns and hats. 
The children were then called one by one to shake hands with their key person and to receive a certificate. There was a lot of watery eyes and proud parents seeing their children’s time at preschool coming to end before the new and exciting journey of starting big school. The children ended by singing their all-time favourite song and then couldn’t wait to go and show off their gowns properly to their parents. The children were then invited to share some party food, cake, and games. The parents all stayed to chat and shared fond memories with one another and practitioners. Many of the children have been a part of Daisykins for many years, some moving through the entire building from baby room and all the way to preschool. The practitioners were incredibly proud of how well the children had performed and the children will be greatly missed. We would like to thank all of the practitioners at Daisykins for their hard work and dedication to the children and thank you to all of the parents for choosing Daisykins to help their children grow into the intelligent and characterful individuals they are. All the best of luck to the children as they embark on their new adventures, we know they will all do great and achieve great things!
